Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ER/Medsurg Float position at a small Critical Access Hospital, requiring 2+ years of hospital experience and a KS or compact RN license.

Details

• Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting with an acute care unit that covers ER, outpatient therapies, and acute inpatient care
• Float unit covering ER and Medsurg; occasional floating to an attached senior living unit is possible but rare
• Charting via TruBridge Evident; medication administration via Omnicell
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts on a blocked 6-on/8-off schedule
• There is typically another RN on shift, though some nights may be staffed with a traveler alongside a CNA or LPN, with an RN always on call

Requirements

• Active RN license in Kansas (KS) or a compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of hospital nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and IV Certification
• BSN not required
