Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Adult ICU position requiring 2 years of ICU experience and ID or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in a 9-bed CCU/ICU unit within a Level II Trauma hospital setting
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Patient ratio of 2:1
• Uses Meditech EHR system
• Night shift schedule (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• No standard call requirements, though contract allows for up to 3 call shifts per 13-week assignment
• May be required to float to PCU or Med/Surg units
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (ID or compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• RN degree/education required
• Experience with neuro, surgical, medical, ventilator, sedation, cardiac, and stroke patients required
• EKG/rhythm interpretation and IV placement skills required

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to adult and geriatric ICU patients with a wide range of diagnoses
• Any scrub color permitted, though hoodies, sweats, and hats are not acceptable attire
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
