Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level III Trauma Center in Lewiston, ID, requiring 5 years of ED experience and certifications including TNCC.
Details
- Emergency Department (ED) at a Level III Trauma Center
- 16-bed ED unit with a patient ratio of 1:4
- Diverse patient population including adults, geriatric, pediatric, and infant patients
- Common cases include abdominal pain, trauma, stroke, chest pain, and multi-complaint presentations
- Required skills include trauma, cardiac, stroke, head injury, eye trauma, and basic complaint management
- EHR system: Meditech
- Night shift schedule, 7:45 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- 12-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license (Idaho or Compact) currently in hand
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
- Minimum 5 years of ED experience required
- Trauma, cardiac, and stroke experience required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Scrubs are hospital-provided, though candidates may also wear their own
- Must be a team player with a strong focus on patient experience
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
