Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level III Trauma Center in Lewiston, ID, requiring 5 years of ED experience and certifications including TNCC.

Details

• Emergency Department (ED) at a Level III Trauma Center
• 16-bed ED unit with a patient ratio of 1:4
• Diverse patient population including adults, geriatric, pediatric, and infant patients
• Common cases include abdominal pain, trauma, stroke, chest pain, and multi-complaint presentations
• Required skills include trauma, cardiac, stroke, head injury, eye trauma, and basic complaint management
• EHR system: Meditech
• Night shift schedule, 7:45 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• 12-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license (Idaho or Compact) currently in hand
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Minimum 5 years of ED experience required
• Trauma, cardiac, and stroke experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Scrubs are hospital-provided, though candidates may also wear their own
• Must be a team player with a strong focus on patient experience
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
