Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Home Health position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and a minimum of one year of acute care experience.

Details

• Home health setting with patient care provided in the home environment
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH state RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an acute care setting
• Home care experience is preferred
• Valid driver's license and active auto insurance with candidate listed as a driver
• Strong communication skills with the ability to create positive interactions with patients, families, physicians, and colleagues
• Ability to exercise sound nursing judgment and prioritize effectively
• Detail-oriented with a disciplined and timely work ethic

Additional Information

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including assessment, care planning, and patient education
• Must demonstrate compassion, patience, and a calm demeanor when working with patients and families
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a care team
• Two professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
