Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel contract in Las Cruces, NM, working evening shifts in a Joint Commission accredited hospital's CT department.

Details

• Work in the CT department of a 199-bed acute care hospital with a 22-bed ER and 32-bed critical care unit
• Performs all CT exams including CTA hearts and Calcium Scoring, with coverage of IP, ER, OP, and IR procedure exams
• Equipment includes GE 64-slice and 512-slice CT scanners
• Documentation system is Meditech with Change Healthcare PACS
• Evening shift from 3:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• 13-week contract
• No floating requirement

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required; AHA BLS required
• Active NM State License in Radiography and CT required (license required if applicable)
• Ability to work independently and cover inpatient, ER, outpatient, and IR procedure exams
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform all CT exams including CTA hearts and Calcium Scoring across inpatient, outpatient, ER, and IR settings
• Cardiac CT experience is a plus
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere
• All clinical staff assigned in New Mexico are required to complete a state fingerprint background check before or upon hire; travelers may begin on a 14-day waiver while results are pending, with supervision required during that period
• Orientation takes place on Mondays
• Scrubs in any color are acceptable
