Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Magnet-designated acute care hospital in California, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and the ability to circulate.

Details

  • Labor & Delivery unit at a 426-bed Magnet-designated acute care hospital
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
  • Weekends may exceed every other weekend to accommodate unit needs
  • Floating between all facilities within California is required and refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
  • Charting via Epic (experience required)
  • Free parking available on-site
  • Scrubs are provided for L&D

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required; pending licensure is not accepted
  • Active certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
  • AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of L&D RN experience required
  • Ability to circulate is required
  • Experience in large hospital settings highly preferred
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
  • Travel pairs will not be considered
  • Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be accommodated
  • All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application; minimal to no RTO is expected
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
  • Former permanent employees of Providence facilities must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
