Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Rad Tech for a Radiology night shift position requiring 2+ years of experience including CT, ARRT certification, and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Radiology department in an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• CT experience is required as part of the role
• On-call required as needed
• Floating required as needed
• Epic EMR used

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Radiology Tech experience, with CT experience required
• ARRT certification required
• BLS from the American Heart Association required
• Radiologic Technology license required if applicable
• Radiation Safety Training and MRI Safety Training for non-MRI personnel required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the specialty
• No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required — Canadian SINs are not accepted
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Additional Information

• Black scrubs required
• All certifications and licenses must be active with no expirations within the first 30 days of the assignment, unless documentation of a scheduled renewal is provided
• Up to 5 days of RTO is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate
• Local candidates within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts; after completion, candidates must either separate from the facility for at least 1 year or transition to a facility outside the 50-mile radius
