Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a night shift travel contract at a Level I trauma academic medical center in Boston, MA, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and Siemens scanner experience.

• Level I trauma academic medical center setting within a large hospital system
• CT Scan department with rotation required among radiology clinics and divisions within the hospital system, including off-site locations
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
• Weekend availability required
• Non-rotating shift
• EMR: Epic (charting)
• Equipment includes CT scanner, Power Injector, Laser Printer, and patient monitoring devices; Siemens scanner experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with at least 1 year in CT
• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Active Massachusetts State Radiologic and CT Technologist license required; MA conditional licenses are not accepted — license required if applicable
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS required — AHA only; no other providers accepted
• Siemens CT scanner experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• Experience with venipuncture for contrast administration
• Proficiency with PACS and Radiology Information Systems
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include acquiring diagnostic CT images, patient positioning and preparation, contrast administration via venipuncture, and equipment calibration and quality checks
• May oversee and instruct radiology and CT technology students within the department
• Participates in quality assurance, quality improvement, and research programs within the department
• Responsible for on-call coverage as needed and flexibility with shift coverage
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the Boston facility are eligible but will be offered a reduced pay rate compared to the standard travel rate
• Parking is not validated at Boston locations; public transportation and public parking are available at candidate expense
• Time and attendance tracked via UKG/Kronos
• RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration
