Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at an inpatient rehab and LTACH/ICU facility, with first-time travelers welcome and on-call requirements included.
Details
- Low-volume inpatient rehab facility with a 10-bed LTACH/ICU and 46-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
- CT coverage using a GE 16-slice scanner; X-ray coverage using a Siemens portable and GE C-arm for MBS studies
- 4x10 hour day shifts, primarily Monday–Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- On-call required 2–3 nights per week
- Weekend coverage required
- Clinicians should expect to float to a nearby affiliated medical center (approximately 3 miles away) to assist with staffing needs
- Block scheduling can be accommodated
- Charting in Epic (experience required)
- Free parking on-site
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
- Current BLS, ARRT (R), and ARRT (CT) certifications required
- Experience with older GE and Siemens CT scanners required
- Experience with Siemens, Fuji, and GE X-ray and C-arm equipment required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active professional license required if applicable
- Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable
- Float assignments to the affiliated facility are mandatory; refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
- Only one time-off request is permitted per 13-week assignment; requests are approved on an individual basis upon offer
- Local candidates are not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
