Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg travel position requiring at least 2 years of experience, with night shifts and a 100-mile radius requirement.
Details
- Medical/Surgical unit in an acute care hospital setting
- Patient ratio of 1:7
- Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts per week)
- 36-hour weekly work commitment on a 36/36 schedule
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating is required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active TN or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
- AHA BLS certification required (AHA-issued only)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Med/Surg and Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- Orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
- Travelers are expected to support clinical nursing student education alongside their regular patient care responsibilities
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
