Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg Tele unit at an academic medical center in Missouri, requiring telemetry experience and a MO or compact RN license in hand.

Details

• Day shift position, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in an academic hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Every other weekend (EOW) required, including Labor Day weekend (Sept 5-6)
• 50% of holidays required
• Floating required
• Cerner charting experience preferred

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry (MS/Tele) experience required
• At least 2 years of total RN experience required per facility guidelines
• Ability to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing 20 lbs or more
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Any requested RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position; candidates between 50-75 miles may be considered at a reduced pay rate
• Position requires routine contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses
• Holiday coverage is required for at least 50% of holidays falling within the contract period
