Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 2+ years of experience in nuclear cardiology and SPECT imaging for an outpatient clinic setting.

Details

  • Outpatient clinic setting in a Nuclear Medicine department
  • Patient caseload of 6–8 cases per day
  • Adult outpatient population
  • Procedures include nuclear cardiology, gastric emptying, bone scans, liver imaging, perfusion, ventilation, captopril, myocardial scans, and SPECT (Bone, Thyroid, and Cardiac imaging)
  • GE equipment experience utilized in this role
  • Epic EMR for charting
  • 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  • No weekend or on-call requirements
  • Block scheduling permitted

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine, including adult outpatient clinic and nuclear cardiology settings
  • Current BLS and ARRT certification required
  • Active NJ license required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • Two current professional references required
  • Copy of certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
  • Former employees of the RWJBH health system (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
  • Any color scrubs are acceptable
