Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with adult ICU and general care experience for a night shift position at an academic medical center.
Details
- Adult ICU and general care setting at an academic medical center
- Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
- Every other weekend required
- Floating is required
- Cerner charting experience preferred
Requirements
- Active RRT credential required
- Missouri (MO) or Compact state license required; license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of overall respiratory therapy experience, with at least 1 year in adult ICU
- Adult ICU and general care experience required
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Ability to ambulate, reach, and lift or move objects weighing 20 lbs or more
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory therapy services to adult ICU and general care patients
- Coverage for at least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible; candidates living within 75 miles may be considered at a reduced rate
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at time of consideration or it will not be approved
- This is an active role in a 24/7 healthcare environment; rotating shifts and work during inclement weather may be required
- Regular exposure to patients with contagious illnesses is expected in this role
