Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring ACLS and NIH certifications, with night shift availability and a 100-mile radius requirement.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (4x12-hour shifts)
• Schedule options: 36/36, 36/48, or 48/48 hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required to Med/Surg with 1:7 patient ratios when floated

Requirements

• Active TN or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidate's permanent residence must be 100+ miles from the facility's service area

• Contract RNs are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside their regular patient care duties
