Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a hospital-based outpatient rehab setting in the Boston area, requiring a minimum of 1 year of outpatient PT experience and an active MA PT license.

Details

  • Hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation facility
  • 40-hour work week with an AM shift schedule: Monday and Wednesday 10:30a–7p; Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8a–4:30p
  • No major holidays, no weekends, and no on-call requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience in an outpatient setting required; 2+ years preferred
  • Active MA PT license required (license required if applicable)
  • Current BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross)
  • Excellent patient handling skills and transfer techniques
  • Strong interpersonal, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Must be self-directed, flexible, and a collaborative team player
  • Two professional references required: at least one must be at the manager level or above, with a performance evaluation included; one reference must be within the last 12 months and the other within the last 3 years
  • A valid, non-expired driver's license is required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
  • Scrubs or business casual attire are acceptable
  • One reference from a prior travel or temporary assignment is preferred; references from other travelers are not accepted
