Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on a post-surgical adult care unit, requiring a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience and dysrhythmia management skills.
Details
- 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Med/Surg unit specializing in post-surgical adult patient care
- Patient population includes individuals recovering from amputation, spinal cord injury/dysfunction, complex medical conditions, musculoskeletal injury, and stroke
- Care focus is on patients a few days post-surgery
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Active RN license (Maryland or Compact)
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of current nursing experience required
- Dysrhythmia management experience required
- Experience at a large hospital facility (500+ beds) required
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- 1 professional reference required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide post-surgical nursing care to adults with complex conditions including amputation, spinal cord injury, musculoskeletal injury, and stroke
- Prior travel nursing experience (1–2 assignments) is preferred but not required
- Local candidates are welcome to apply at the same rate
