Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring a minimum of 2 years of inpatient endoscopy experience and Epic EMR proficiency.
Details
- Inpatient endoscopy unit within a hospital setting
- Advanced endoscopy procedures performed, including EMR, ESD, RFA, CRYO, POEM, and ERCP
- Schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts (6:00 AM–4:30 PM), Monday through Friday, with a rotating day off
- Call is required on holidays, weekends, and weekdays; must be within 30 minutes of the facility when on call
- Floating is required; travelers are first to float and may float to sister campuses (approximately 15–20 minutes away)
- Epic EMR experience is required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand; DL address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient endoscopy RN experience required
- Advanced endoscopy experience preferred (EMR, ESD, RFA, CRYO, POEM, ERCP)
- Epic EMR experience required
- Nursing degree from an accredited program required, or a minimum of 5 years of RN experience in lieu of accreditation verification
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; candidate must not own or be associated with any property within the 50-mile radius
- Full DOB, SSN, and RN license number required for consideration
Additional Information
- Nurses begin orientation on a Friday; remote orientation is completed prior to an in-person visit to the facility for badge/ID issuance, so candidates must be in the area by that Friday
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application, as it will not be approved after submission
- No block scheduling requests will be accepted
- A hiring manager interview is conducted as part of the selection process
- Travelers are welcomed into the unit and are expected to function as core staff
- Flexibility and a team-player attitude are strongly valued by this facility
