Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with Level 1 trauma experience for a high-acuity, inner-city hospital setting, with a preference for ARRT (CT) certification.

Details

• CT Scan department at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center specializing in stroke and burn cases
• GE scanners in use — 2 with an older platform and 5 with the Revolution scanner platform
• Epic EMR in use
• 3x10 hour night shifts, Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 4 weekend shifts required per month
• Block scheduling is generally not approved

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification; ARRT (CT) preferred
• Current BLS required
• Proven experience in high-pressure, large-volume trauma environments — candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
• Background managing critical, fast-paced cases with diverse and severe patient presentations
• Experience with GE CT scanners preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Active license required if applicable
