Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical Oncology position requiring a CA RN license, BSN, and a minimum of 2 years of experience, with prior travel assignment experience required.

Details

  • Medical Surgical Oncology unit in a hospital setting
  • Day and night shift rotation on a 3x12-hour schedule (days: 7:00–19:30, nights: 19:00–7:30)
  • Shifts do not rotate within the same week, but rotation may occur within a 4-week schedule period
  • Floating to other campuses within the health system may be required

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • BSN required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required (firm)
  • Previous travel assignment experience required — first-time travelers are not accepted
  • Telemetry and ostomy experience preferred
  • ONS certification preferred
  • Completed references must be in hand at time of consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide medical-surgical nursing care to oncology patients
  • All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of offer — RTO requests submitted after the contract is signed will not be honored
