Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiovascular Care Unit (IMC) position in Denver, CO, requiring 1 year of cardiovascular experience and an active CO or compact RN license.
Details
- Cardiovascular Care Unit (Intermediate Care) in a hospital setting in Denver, CO
- Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
- 13-week contract
- Epic EMR used for charting
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
- Minimum 1 year of cardiovascular nursing experience required
- Required certifications (must be AHA-issued and valid through the start of the assignment): BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- TNCC preferred
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
- 2 professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with state Board of Nursing practice standards
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and therapy and treatment monitoring
- Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients for further evaluation as needed
- Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Former permanent staff of any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
