Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift assignment at an acute care hospital in Ogden, UT, requiring 2+ years of experience and GE CT scanner proficiency.

Details

• CT Scan department at a 223-bed acute care hospital
• Equipment includes GE CT scanners: two 128-slice, one 64-slice, and one 16-slice units
• EMR is Meditech with GE PACS
• Night shift staffing includes 1 CT Tech in the hospital and 1 CT Tech in the FSER
• Procedures include CTAs (head to toe), calcium scoring, stroke workups, low-dose lung scans, and pulmonary studies
• 12-hour night shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Mixed nights and weekends schedule

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
• ARRT (CT) and BLS certifications required; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• GE CT scanner experience required
• Ability to perform diagnostic X-ray required
• Strong diagnostic imaging skills required
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required if from Florida or Missouri)
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Preferred skills include strong IV skills, biopsy experience, and pediatric imaging experience
• Ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Black scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
