Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in a children's hospital CT radiology department at a Level I trauma center in Savannah, GA, working 12-hour shifts Friday through Sunday.

Details

• Children's hospital CT radiology department within a large, 612-bed Level I trauma center and regional children's hospital
• All CT examinations are performed in this department
• Equipment includes Toshiba and GE CT scanners
• Epic EMR is in use at this facility
• 3 technologists staffed on the evening shift
• 12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Friday through Sunday
• No floating required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
• ARRT (CT) registry required
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• Strong critical thinking skills
• License required if applicable
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required

• Perform the full range of CT examinations across a pediatric patient population
• The facility is ACR certified and is recognized as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center and Top Performer on Key Quality Measures by The Joint Commission
• The department is described as a great team with a positive attitude
• Medium gray/pewter scrubs preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; no local candidates will be considered
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
