Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment at a Level I trauma center and academic medical center in Savannah, GA, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Details
- CT Scan department at a 612-bed HCA Healthcare facility that is home to the only Level I trauma center and only children's hospital in the region
- Full range of CT examinations performed
- Evening/overnight shift: Saturday through Monday, 2:30 PM – 2:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
- Three technologists on shift during evenings
- Equipment includes Toshiba and GE CT scanners
- Epic EMR used for documentation
- No floating required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
- Strong critical thinking skills required
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform all CT examinations across a high-volume, regionally significant trauma and academic medical center
- Department holds ACR certification
- Medium gray/pewter scrubs preferred
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- The facility is recognized as a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures and as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission
- Staff describe a family-like atmosphere with supportive management and opportunities for growth
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
