Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position on nights, requiring BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications with hands-on L&D procedural skills including cesarean section support and recovery.

Details

  • Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit in a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule: 1900–0730
  • 36–48 hours per week

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license, unrestricted and currently in hand
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
  • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
  • Minimum 2 years of recent L&D nursing experience
  • Must have worked in L&D within the last 3 months
  • Ability to manage post-operative recovery in L&D and assist with cesarean section deliveries
  • 2 supervisory references required: one from the past year and one from within the past 2 years
  • Active license must have no prior disciplinary actions or hits

Additional Information

  • Responsibilities include managing labor and delivery patients, supporting cesarean section procedures, and overseeing post-operative recovery
  • RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract
