Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a Telemetry unit, requiring a KS or compact RN license and 2 years of experience.
Details
- Work in a Medical/Surgical Cardiovascular Telemetry Unit with 38 beds
- Telemetry patients monitored via remote monitoring
- No drip titrations required
- Lab collects blood specimens; RNs start IVs with IV team support available
- No performing EKGs or discontinuing sheaths
- Uses Cerner OneChart EMR
- Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
- Every other weekend requirement
- Ceil Blue scrubs required
Requirements
- Active KS or compact RN license
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care on a busy cardiovascular telemetry unit
- Must reside within the facility's radius rule for full travel rate eligibility; local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
- Only one submission permitted per candidate system-wide to Ascension facilities
- Covid vaccination is not required
