Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a short-term Epic conversion contract requiring Cerner and Epic experience, CA licensure, and night shift availability with the ability to work 48-hour weeks.

• Ability to work 48 hours per week is required
• 8-week contract duration

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIH Stroke Scale, and Moderate Sedation Training
• TNCC preferred
• Cerner and Epic experience required, both within the last 5 years
• Minimum 3 years of ER nursing experience required
• Recent experience working in the ER specialty within the last 3 months required
• Must have previously completed a travel contract or worked as a permanent employee at an organization (not a first-time traveler)
• Active, unrestricted RN license with no prior hits on record
• 2 supervisor references required: one from within the past year, one from within the past two years
• Specialty-specific skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration

Additional Information

• This is an Epic conversion contract — Cerner and Epic proficiency is essential to the role
• No RTO (time off) will be approved during this contract; candidates requesting more than 5 days of RTO will not be considered
• All employment gaps of one month or longer must be documented and explained in work history
• PALS (AHA) is listed as a certification requirement in submission guidelines
