Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery / Mom Baby Unit position in Miles City, MT, requiring 1 year of L&D experience and an active MT or compact RN license.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital Mom Baby Unit (L&D)
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• 14-week contract
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Requirements

• Active MT or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of L&D / Mom Baby nursing experience required
• Required certifications (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, NRP, and/or PALS as applicable to unit — must not expire prior to assignment start
• ASN from an accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for Labor & Delivery / Mom Baby patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and patient referrals as needed
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans; documents per hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
