Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a night shift contract at a short-term acute care Level III Trauma Center in Washington, performing both CT and X-ray imaging with a minimum of 2 years of experience and active WA licensure.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds
- CT Scan unit with no floating between units required
- Performs both CT and X-ray imaging; role is not limited to CT only
- After midnight, the technologist is the sole imaging tech on shift, responsible for both CT and X-ray
- 1:1 patient ratio
- 4x12-hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday, 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM with a 30-minute lunch break at approximately 11:30 PM
- No weekends or on-call required
- Charting performed in Epic (required)
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT and X-ray technologist experience
- Active Washington State CT/X-ray Technologist license required; license required if applicable
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- BLS certification required
- Experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Ability to independently perform both CT and X-ray procedures during overnight hours
Additional Information
- Travelers are expected to be available to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Minimal RTO is expected for this position
- At least 2 supervisory references are required, covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB are required for consideration
- Previous work history at a Providence facility (travel, permanent, or per-diem) must be disclosed, including location and dates
- Scrubs of any color are accepted
- No parking fee
