Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a Level II Trauma and Stroke Center in St. Joseph, MO, requiring Epic proficiency and a Missouri or Compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a 352-bed hospital setting
• Level II Trauma Center and Level II Stroke Center designation
• Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Charting system: Epic (required, hard stop)
• Floating may be required to units of similar or lower acuity
• Free on-site parking available

Requirements

• Active MO RN license or Compact RN license required (pending license acceptable but must be in hand prior to start)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required (hard stop — no exceptions)
• BSN preferred
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but may be offered a reduced compensation rate
• The facility is the only tertiary hospital between Kansas City and Omaha, serving a broad regional patient population
