Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Worcester, MA, requiring a permanent MA RN license and the ability to read telemetry.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts with a 7:00 PM start time
• Shift start time may flex up to four hours earlier or later based on urgent staffing need, though this is rare
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active, permanent MA RN license currently in hand required
• Minimum 1.5 years of RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Must be able to read telemetry
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher
• Candidates must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Additional Information

• Candidates with any prior disciplinary actions on their nursing license will not be considered
• Orientation includes two pass/fail exams — a medication exam and a telemetry/EKG exam — each allowed only one attempt; failing either exam results in immediate contract cancellation
• Study materials will be provided during the compliance and onboarding process to help prepare for orientation exams
