Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Inpatient Rehab Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of acute care experience for a 13-week travel assignment requiring a GA state license and Cerner proficiency.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Patient population includes orthopedic post-op cases (cervical surgery, shoulder repair, spinal surgery, total hip and knee replacement), neurological conditions (MS, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke, spinal cord injury, TBI), and spine/cervical pain conditions
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule with one weekend per month
• Float requirement included in this assignment
• Charting completed in Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience in acute care required
• Current BLS certification required
• Active Georgia state PT license required if applicable
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Proficiency in body mechanics and treatment of orthopedic, neurological, and spinal conditions required
• A copy of your driver's license is required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• 13-week contract with possibility of extension
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Previous travel experience preferred but not required
• Minimal to no time off (RTO) during the assignment
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Candidates residing within 30 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position; candidates residing 31–50 miles from the facility may be subject to a reduced pay rate
• A copy of your Social Security card is required for consideration
