Description

American Traveler is hiring an OB Ultrasound Technologist for an ambulatory setting requiring ARDMS certification and 2+ years of experience.

Details

• Ambulatory OB/GYN ultrasound setting providing scans to obstetric patients
• Performs maternal fetal medicine and obstetrics scans, including anatomy scans
• 4x9 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Schedule includes alternating Mondays and Fridays off, resulting in four-day weekends twice a month
• No weekend requirement
• No on-call requirement
• No holiday requirement

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in OB ultrasound scanning
• ARDMS certification required, with ARDMS OB/GYN certification preferred
• BLS certification required
• Prior travel experience required
• Proficient in performing OB scans in an ambulatory environment
• Experience with Philips ultrasound equipment preferred
• Active license required if applicable
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Local candidates are not accepted
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility, calculated from the address on the candidate's driver's license
• All RTO requests must be submitted upfront with the application
• Previous employees must have a break of at least one year before returning as a traveler
• Travelers who have worked 365 days on assignment are not eligible to return, regardless of separation period, with case-by-case exceptions reviewed by facility leadership
