Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg position in Mayfield, KY, requiring at least 1 year of experience and active KY or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Located on the 3rd and 4th floor Med/Surg unit of a 107-bed, Joint Commission-accredited acute care hospital
• 57-bed Med/Surg unit serving patients of all ages
• Common diagnoses and treatments include COPD, post-operative joint care, and diabetic patient management
• Patient ratios of up to 1:6 with PCA assistance
• EMR system: Meditech
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend requirement, with additional weekend hours as needed
• On-call required as needed
• Floating to like units possible as needed

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and HWC (AHA-issued certifications required) — all must be in hand prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Part of the LifePoint Health system, this facility is the sole provider of acute care in Graves County, KY
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Any color scrubs are acceptable; branded attire from other facilities is not permitted
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• Candidates who have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
