Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry (Days) position in Knoxville, TN, requiring at least 1 year of experience and an active TN or Compact RN license.
Details
- 13-week travel contract on a Med/Surg unit (Floor 2) in a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 31-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:6 to 1:7
- Total patient care model
- Floating may be required to other Med/Surg floors
- No block scheduling
- EMR: Cerner
- Royal blue scrubs required
Requirements
- Active TN or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (all ACLS modules must be completed)
- No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the contract start date
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required
- Valid driver's license required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Provide total patient care to Med/Surg and telemetry patients
- Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered
- RTO requests must be less than 1 week in duration
