Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a travel contract requiring Level I Trauma experience and proficiency in cardiac, liver transplant, craniotomy, and spinal cases.
Details
- Hospital-based Operating Room setting
- Travelers float among services within the main OR as well as to Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience, Jefferson Methodist Hospital, and the Honickman Center
- Required case experience includes cardiac, liver transplant, craniotomies, and spinal cases; ortho fracture experience is a plus
- 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Every 3rd weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)
- No on-call requirement
- No holiday coverage required
- Charts in Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active PA RN license or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Level I Trauma certification required
- Minimum 2 years of OR specialty experience required
- Level I Trauma experience required
- Ability to both scrub and circulate required
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Copies of certifications required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must scrub and circulate across a variety of surgical services
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply with appropriate experience
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be considered at a different pay rate
