Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position at an acute care facility in West Virginia, requiring ACLS certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Position is located in a Cardiac Cath Lab unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Covers both Electrophysiology (EP) and Cardiac Catheterization procedures
• Scheduled for four 10-hour day shifts per week, either 6:00 AM–4:30 PM or 9:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Holiday and on-call coverage is required
• EMR system used is Epic

Requirements

• Active WV or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• A valid, unexpired driver's license is required for consideration
• Candidate's driver's license address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Candidates must provide 2 professional references: at least 1 supervisor reference and 1 peer or additional supervisor reference (e.g., Charge RN); if the candidate worked a permanent position in the last 12 months, one supervisor reference must be from that facility
• Candidates who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before reapplying
• Candidates who have worked within the WVU system for a cumulative total of one year must also take a 2-year break before reapplying
• All candidates interview directly with the unit manager
• 13-week contract
