Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down (HVTI) position at a major academic medical center in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of Step Down experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based HVTI Step Down unit
• Potential to float to other units within the same facility, caring for the same patient population
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 3x12-hour shifts per week
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact state RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty, preferably within a single location but combined experience is acceptable
• Minimum 18 months of recent Step Down experience required; travel experience will be accepted
• PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation, and acceptable scores on both are required
• Must be available to work at least every other holiday
• Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at any location within this health system; a minimum 6-month break is required before beginning another assignment within the health system
• Two professional references are required
