Description

American Traveler is looking for a Physical Therapist with acute care experience for a rehabilitation unit in an inpatient acute care hospital.

Details

  • Inpatient acute care hospital setting within the Rehabilitation unit
  • 175-bed facility with a therapy team of 60 providers including PTs, OTs, SLPs, PTAs, and COTAs
  • Patient ratio of 8-10 patients daily
  • Uses Epic EMR
  • 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts on a rotating schedule including weekends
  • Weekend requirement of 2-3 weekends per month, including Saturdays and Sundays
  • No on-call requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required
  • Acute care experience required
  • License required if applicable
  • Current BLS certification required
  • No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Best suited for candidates who work well independently
  • Light green scrub attire required
  • Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility with no exceptions for local candidates
