Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel Physical Therapist with acute care experience for a 13-week inpatient rehabilitation assignment in Anchorage, AK, working 10-hour day shifts with a rotating weekend schedule.

Details

  • Inpatient acute care rehabilitation unit located on the 5th floor of the main hospital building
  • 175-bed facility with a therapy team of approximately 60 providers, including PTs, OTs, SLPs, PTAs, and COTAs
  • Shift hours are 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, four 10-hour days per week on a rotating schedule
  • Weekend rotation required, including Saturdays and Sundays, approximately 2–3 weekends per month
  • Patient caseload of 8–10 patients per day
  • EMR: Epic
  • No on-call requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy
  • Acute care experience is required
  • Active PT license required if applicable
  • Must have worked in the applied specialty within the last 6 months
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • US SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • One professional reference required

Additional Information

  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
  • Light green scrubs required
  • Independent work style is a strong fit for this role
