Description
American Traveler is looking for a Physical Therapist with acute care experience for a rehabilitation unit in an inpatient acute care hospital.
Details
- Inpatient acute care hospital setting within the Rehabilitation unit
- 175-bed facility with a therapy team of 60 providers including PTs, OTs, SLPs, PTAs, and COTAs
- Patient ratio of 8-10 patients daily
- Uses Epic EMR
- 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts on a rotating schedule including weekends
- Weekend requirement of 2-3 weekends per month, including Saturdays and Sundays
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required
- Acute care experience required
- License required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Best suited for candidates who work well independently
- Light green scrub attire required
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility with no exceptions for local candidates
