Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position at an acute care hospital, with first-time travelers welcome and Cerner experience required.
Details
- 13-week travel contract
- Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
- Every other weekend required
- Travelers may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
Requirements
- Active Indiana or Compact state license in hand at time of consideration — license required if applicable
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; CRT will not be accepted
- BLS certification required; both AHA and RQI formats accepted and must be current
- Minimum 18 months of experience required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- 2 supervisor references required
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates (Indiana residents) are accepted for this position
- Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- RTO of 5 days or fewer may be auto-approved
- Former permanent or PRN employees of this facility must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
- Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within this health system must take a consecutive break before reapplying: out-of-state residents require a 90-day break, and in-state residents require a 180-day break
