Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel contract on a scenic island community hospital, requiring ARRT certification, active MA licensure, and at least 1 year of experience.

Details

• Position is located within an imaging department at a small community hospital serving a year-round population of 15,000+ residents and up to 100,000 seasonal visitors annually
• Monday through Friday day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• EMR system is Epic

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience required
• Active ARRT certification required
• Active Massachusetts state license required at the time of consideration — no pending licenses accepted; license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Shared housing is provided at no cost for the duration of the assignment
• Candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are considered local and may be subject to a reduced pay rate
• Any requested time off must be disclosed at the time of consideration
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded from consideration
