Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Johnstown, PA, requiring at least 2 years of experience and a valid PA or compact RN license.
Details
- Medical Surgical Telemetry unit (PCU) in a tertiary care regional referral hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center
- Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 13-week contract
- Every other weekend required
Requirements
- Active PA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- AHA certifications required (specific certifications must be AHA-issued)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- Candidates must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
- Fingerprinting and background clearances required prior to start, including Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police (PATCH) clearance, DHS fingerprinting, and FBI Department of Aging fingerprinting (completed within the last 2 years)
Additional Information
- Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
- Candidates who have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Full-time employment elsewhere is not permitted during this assignment
- The facility is a nationally recognized tertiary care referral center offering a broad range of specialty services including cardiology, stroke care, critical care, and trauma services
