Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level 2 NICU position in Rochester, NY, requiring an active NY RN license and Epic EMR experience.
Details
- Level 2 NICU unit, aligned with Women's Health services rather than critical care
- Cares for neonatal patients at 33 weeks gestation and above
- Must be able to perform baby catch in the OR for C-section cases
- Some floating required to the Postpartum unit for newborn care
- Day/Night rotating shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00 / 19:00–7:00)
- Rotating weekend requirement
- 8-week contract with possibility of extension
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required prior to consideration
- Minimum 1 year of NICU experience
- Epic EMR experience required
- BLS certification required
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are not eligible; must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
- Any time off requests must be disclosed at the time of initial submission
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
