Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week travel contract in Vacaville, CA, requiring a valid CA RN license and at least one year of recent critical care experience.
Details
- Night shift position: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
- ICU (Intensive Care Unit) setting within a hospital environment
- Epic EMR is in use at this facility
- Local candidates are accepted and receive the same rate as travel candidates
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required — no pending certifications accepted
- Minimum 1 year of recent full-time ICU or critical care experience (within the last 3 years) required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
- Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- BSN or related degree preferred
- 2 years of recent ICU experience preferred
- NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
- CCRN preferred
- Dialysis, SLED, or equivalent experience preferred
Additional Information
- Per Kaiser Permanente's HR Tenure Policy, contingent workers may not work on assignment for more than two years (cumulative) without a 90-day consecutive break, regardless of whether assignments are continuous or include lapses of less than three months
