Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week travel contract in Vacaville, CA, requiring a valid CA RN license and at least one year of recent critical care experience.

Details

• Night shift position: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week
• ICU (Intensive Care Unit) setting within a hospital environment
• Epic EMR is in use at this facility
• Local candidates are accepted and receive the same rate as travel candidates

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required — no pending certifications accepted
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time ICU or critical care experience (within the last 3 years) required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• BSN or related degree preferred
• 2 years of recent ICU experience preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• CCRN preferred
• Dialysis, SLED, or equivalent experience preferred

Additional Information

• Per Kaiser Permanente's HR Tenure Policy, contingent workers may not work on assignment for more than two years (cumulative) without a 90-day consecutive break, regardless of whether assignments are continuous or include lapses of less than three months
