Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a critical need night shift position at a hospital in Vacaville, CA, requiring a valid CA RN license and at least one year of recent ICU experience.

• ICU (Intensive Care Unit) setting in a hospital environment in Vacaville, CA
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; all licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration — pending certifications not accepted
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time ICU experience (within the last 3 years) required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
• BSN or related degree preferred
• 2 years of recent ICU experience preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
• CCRN preferred
• Experience with dialysis, SLED, or equivalent preferred
• Last 4 digits of SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Local candidates are accepted (local and travel rates are the same)
• Per Kaiser Permanente's HR Tenure Policy, contingent workers may not exceed two years of assignment time without a minimum 90-day break, regardless of whether assignments are continuous or include lapses of less than three months
