Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and a GA or compact RN license, with night shift scheduling and every-other-weekend requirements.
Details
- Hospital emergency department setting
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating within the facility within scope of practice as needed
- 10-week contract
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Copies of all applicable certifications required for consideration
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
- No special scheduling requests or alternate shifts will be accommodated
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted
- Max 7 days of RTO allowed; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
- Holiday coverage is required: if 1 or 2 major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO allowed; if 3 major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler must work 2, and 1 holiday RTO request may be reviewed for approval
- Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday (counts as 1), Christmas Eve/Christmas Day (counts as 1), and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day (counts as 1)
- Travelers must be away from all Piedmont facilities for a minimum of 1 full year before returning as a traveler
- Travel pairs are not permitted on the same shift within the same unit
