Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical ICU (MICU) travel assignment requiring at least 1-2 years of ICU experience and Epic charting familiarity.

Details

• Work setting is a Medical-Surgical ICU (MICU) in a hospital environment
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Patient ratio is 1:2
• Epic EMR used; experience preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS; NIHSS and PALS also required
• Minimum 1-2 years of ICU experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the facility

Additional Information

• Candidates residing in the following TX counties are not eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• No travel pairs or groups accepted
• RTO is limited to no more than 3 days auto-approved per contract; no RTO will be approved during the first week of orientation
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
