Description
American Traveler is seeking a multi-modality CT/X-Ray Technologist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week night shift contract at a short-term acute care hospital in Indiana.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital with 153 staffed beds, Stroke 1 accredited
- CT Scan unit serving ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations including adult and pediatric patients
- Equipment includes 2 Philips IQon CT scanners, 2 Siemens DR X-Ray rooms, Carestream portables
- Cerner EMR; experience required
- Night shifts: Friday and Saturday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (2x12-hour shifts)
- On-call required up to 4–5 times per month, including one weekend per month and 1–2 weekdays per month
- Holiday coverage required; candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- No floating to sister facilities required
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience required
- Active Indiana state license or Compact License in hand at time of consideration (pending licensure not accepted); license required if applicable
- Current BLS and ARRT certification required; AHA and RQI accepted
- Proficiency with Siemens, Carestream portable, and Philips equipment
- Ability to perform general X-ray in addition to CT
- Experience with Cerner EMR required
- Comfortable working independently at times
- 2 supervisor references required
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Performs CT imaging as well as general X-ray across ER, inpatient, and outpatient settings with adult and pediatric patients
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates (Indiana residents) are accepted
- Former permanent or PRN employees of the facility must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
- Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within the health system are required to take a consecutive break to reset eligibility: out-of-state residents require a 90-day break; in-state residents require a 180-day break
- Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Free parking on-site
