Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient Sports Medicine position on Nantucket Island, requiring a MA PT license and at least 1 year of experience.
Details
- Outpatient Sports Medicine setting at a community hospital serving a year-round island population of 15,000+ residents, plus up to 100,000 seasonal visitors annually
- Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week, with shifts starting between 8:00–8:30 AM
- Charting is performed using Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts PT license required; conditional or pending licenses are not accepted
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- BLS certification required (AHA preferred; Red Cross also accepted)
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Shared housing is provided at no cost for the duration of the assignment
- Flu vaccine is required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted
- Candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are considered local candidates
- Two professional references are required for consideration
- Any requested time off (RTO) should be disclosed at the time of consideration
