Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a Level IV neonatal intensive care position requiring a minimum of 2 years of Level III+ NICU experience and NRP/STABLE certifications.
Details
- Level IV NICU setting within a large academic medical center (500+ bed facility)
- Cares for the highest-acuity newborns, including those with congenital anomalies, respiratory distress syndrome, pulmonary hypertension, gastroschisis, omphalocele, esophageal atresia, meningomyelocele, HIE, hydrocephalus, congenital cardiac abnormalities, and participation in an active fetal therapy program
- Patient population includes newborns, premature infants, and extremely low birth weight infants
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
- 13-week contract
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS, NRP, and STABLE
- Minimum 2 years of NICU experience at a Level III or higher facility required
- Level IV NICU experience preferred
- Experience in a 500+ bed facility required
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required for consideration
Additional Information
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
- Provide intensive nursing care to critically ill neonates across a wide range of complex diagnoses and surgical conditions
