Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Billings, MT, requiring 1 year of ED experience and an active MT or compact RN license.
Details
- Hospital Emergency Department setting
- Variable 12-hour shifts, working mostly nights and evenings
- 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
- Epic EMR used for charting
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
- May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
Requirements
- Active MT or compact RN license required — no pending license accepted
- Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience required
- ASN required; BSN preferred
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS and/or NRP as appropriate — must not expire prior to assignment start
- Epic charting experience required
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for Emergency Department patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and executes delegated medical functions
- Documents clinical care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
